For my sister whom I loved dearly.
In tribute for my dear sister Daphne Fido
How cruel is a stroke. To be independent one minute then suddenly to be struck down the next. Talking to us one day, then no more. You are now reunited with Dad, he’ll show you the way and can enjoy the music together.
Towards the birds you loved to watch, be it in your garden or elsewhere. For the pigeons that you fed everyday & would wait for you outside of the patio doors.
We were told that mum's stroke was catastrophic and would be life changing/life limiting. How right they were. Our world turned upside down in seconds and over two months we watched helplessly as mum lost the will to live as a result of the damage to her brain. Stroke survivors need all the help they can get so this donation is in memory of my mum to help fund support for stroke survivors.
In memory of my mum who loved all birds and enjoyed seeing different birds all over the world. Her beloved robins nested in the back garden whilst she was in hospital and the crows are back in their nest in the Oak tree. She would have loved to know they were there.
